With Hotel franchises increasingly recognising the importance of Sustainable products, Mellcrest offers a Greener Lifestyle Toiletries & Amenities range, a Tree Free Bamboo Tissue range, Fair trade products and more!
Sustainability is one of the cornerstones of Mellcrest and our business initiatives show this. We are continuously improving and introducing products to reduce plastic pollution and be more eco-friendly.
Therefore, where posssible we have ensured the majority of our ammenities to be made from corn starch, straw or cotton. In addition, all of our toiletries have bulk refill options. Our range of Bamboo Tree free toilet paper & tissues, soluclean cleaning range (designed to remove single use plastic from your cleaning operation), eco bedding and more natural slippers all show our commitment to sustainability.
Environmentally friendly packaging is an essential part of our commitment to sustainability. Where possible we continue to reduce plastic packaging, replacing it with sustainable options.
Examples of our initiatives have been: all amenities are packaged with FSC accredited packaging or stone paper, all slippers are packaged in a cornstarch bag and we have removed individual plastic packaging on 3 of our most popular toilet paper ranges. Mellcrest aims to continue to reduce plastic usage, contributing to a sustainable future.
At Mellcrest we take our responsibility seriously when it comes to taking care of the environment. We employ a number of different solutions to help us play our part; from reusing the energy that our solar panels produce to energy efficient lighting in all our buildings.
